A StorySlam is an open mic competition for anyone to share a five-minute story based on one theme to audience members who appreciate a well-told tale. Of those who sign up in advance online and attend the event, 10 storytellers will be randomly selected from a hat (just like our fringe shows!). This year’s theme will be “Fool.”

Fringe StorySlam is presented in collaboration with StorySwap, the Pittsburgh-based organization that promotes the art of storytelling in all its forms and produces the Three Rivers Storytelling Festival every August.
